Chateau Clinet 2022

Château Clinet, located in the Pomerol appellation of Bordeaux, is renowned for producing some of the region's finest wines. The estate's history dates back to at least the 16th century, with the name "Clinet" evolving from "Cleinat" over time. In the late 1970s, under the direction of Jean Michel Arcaute, the estate began producing wines of exceptional quality. The 2022 vintage is composed of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in 80% new and 20% one-year-old barrels for 16 months. This wine is characterized by its rich layers of dark berry fruit, floral notes, cedar, tobacco, and spice, offering a full-bodied and layered palate with ripe tannins and a long, elegant finish.
