Aldo Conterno Barolo Bussia Colonnello 2020

This Barolo from the Colonnello vineyard in Bussia, Monforte d'Alba, is crafted from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. The 2020 vintage exhibits aromas of leather, vanilla bean, rose petals, plum, and citrus peel. On the palate, it is tight, fresh, and acidic, with well-delineated flavors of leather, cherry peel, aniseed, and hints of oregano. The wine is aged for 28 months in large Slavonian oak barrels and has an alcohol content of 15%. It pairs well with game meat and aged cow's milk cheeses and has a longevity of 15 to 25 years .
